French milestone
Hey, I'm back! :D
Since my last post, I was very busy. There are around 1000 french words and phrases in my LWT database. That's a great milestone! Reading the Pokémon walkthrough is an easy task now. But there are always some new words and interesting phrases in there. So I will stick with these texts for a while.
I tried to read an news article. As you can see, it was very difficult. Not just because the great amount of new vocabulary. I had difficulty to understand it, because the topic was unfamiliar. Texts about familiar topics are easier to understand, even if many words are unknown. But both difficulties together are a real overkill! XD
Anyway. At the moment I am working through RTK to learn kanji. But yesterday I started to read japanese texts in LWT. I'm not a real beginner in Japanese. I just never had a real foundation. This means, I know here and there many things about japanese, but nothing for real.
Because of my very good experiences with the french Pokémon walkthrough, I will read similiar texts in Japanese. This website is a good source to start. I saved around 90 japanese words and phrases so far.
