What I did today:

• passive listening
• reading & listening (dialogues from textbook)

I concentrated on the first two dialogues from my textbook. First, I wrote them in my notebook. While doing this, I noticed familiar words. The second dialogue is easier to understand than the first one (it's shorter, too). Then I listened to the audio a few times. I could follow it quite good. 

What I really like about these two dialogues is that they are more colloquial than in other textbooks I know. Plus, it's not that typical tourist scenario. Instead, you have a small group of befriended young russians. The dialogues are simple, of course, and they show you important words and phrases. But these dialogues don't feel that stiff like in other textbooks.
