Russian Log / 017

What I did today:
  • listening & reading (new dialogues)
  • started lesson 2 from my textbook
  • grammar
  • review

I started lesson 2 and wrote an new grammar point into my notebook. Then I typed the dialogues and imported them into LWT. I listened to the audio while reading and looked up all unknown words.

The first dialogue is about questions like "What do you do now? What do your kids at the moment?" and such. The second dialogue shows how to introduce oneself, say where you live, where you work and so on. Grammarwise the focus lies on verbs (the focus of lesson 1 were nouns).

Both dialogues are quite long, but they are not that difficult. Many words/structures are similar to the previous dialogues. I like that one dialogue is formal and one informal.

I think it's more efficient to type the dialogues right into LWT, than to write it into my notebook. Writing the dialogue only once saves time, but also the risk of typos are not that high (I made a few little errors as I wrote the dialogues of lesson 1 into my notebook, I corrected them as I noticed the errors). When I type them digitally, I can look at the auto-correction and choose the right word before I wrote it to the last letter -- this is also an time saver!
