Japanese Reading Log: #001 まぼろしの星 (2)
#001 まぼろしの星 (Part 2)
I've read the next chapter of「まぼろしの星」which was quite short. The young hero starts his mission and jumps into the unknown. New mysterious details come up and the story becomes more and more interesting.
I really like this book so far. I look into the dictionary from time to time, but overall it's very easy to follow the story. There are no complex / long sentences like in the books and texts I usually read. The sentence structures are mostly basic. It's very pleasant to read. That's why I would recommend it to learners of Japanese, who want to start reading (light) novels. This book could be a good start!
It's aimed at children, of course. But I thought, it wouldn't hurt to start my reading log with easier books. I will slowly climb my way up and read increasingly difficult books. Let's see how it goes! :D
